The Great Shakeout 2026

Join millions of people across California for the Great ShakeOut, an annual earthquake preparedness drill. Participants are encouraged to practice “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” and learn how to stay safe during an earthquake. Individuals, families, schools, and organizations can participate from home, work, or wherever they are. While it is encourage to participate in this world wide event, you may practice this drill at any time during the year as much as you like.
